YOUR ROLE * Conduct comprehensive financial analysis on capital investment proposals, including ROI calculations, NPV analysis, IRR analysis, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment. * Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to develop detailed financial plans and budgets for capital projects. * Evaluate and recommend optimal financing options for capital investments, considering factors such as cost of capital, debt-equity ratios, and financial risk. * Establish robust financial controls and processes to monitor capital expenditure, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and financial policies. * Monitor project performance against financial targets, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as necessary. * Conduct regular reviews of capital projects to assess their financial viability and alignment with strategic objectives. * Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, financial trends, and investment opportunities. * Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior leadership on capital investment decisions, highlighting risks and opportunities. * Communicate financial information and project updates to stakeholders, fostering transparency and accountability. * Identify and assess financial risks associated with capital investments, developing strategies to mitigate risks and maximize returns. * Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors that may impact capital investment decisions. * Continuous Improvement. * Accountabilities (Time in %) * FP&A.                    35% * Monitoring & controls.                    35% * Reporting.     15% * Risk Management.     15% YOUR SKILLS * The desired candidate for this role should have a strong business partnering mindset, emphasizing the ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making. * They should possess a strategic thinker mindset, capable of understanding the broader organizational goals and aligning financial strategies accordingly. * A minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance or strategic functions is expected, indicating a solid foundation in financial management, analysis, and decision support. * Furthermore, having previous work experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry or a consulting firm would be advantageous.
