- Performs Tax activities for all divisions; ensures that the applied Tax practices and procedures are compliant with applicable policies, laws and regulations. Main accountabilities and tasks: 1. Performs and executes respective Tax activities both for sites in Shanghai and Shantou. 2. Collaborates with the LE Finance Head/ Team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned activities. 3. Issue VAT invoices on time. 4. Ensures application of accounting policies and procedures. 5. Ensures that the applied Tax practices and procedures are compliant with applicable Liaison with FSSC if required and necessary policies, laws and regulations. 6. Supports LE Finance Head/Manager in any additional activities as required. 7. Identifies and implements improvements in the areas of Tax. 8. Recommends policy and procedure changes resulting to improve the timely performance of Tax activities. 9. Contributes to ensure service delivery of the Tax department is within agreed SLAs and KPIs. 10. Responsible for timely identification/resolution of open issues. 11. Coordination & follow up with various stakeholders. 12. Performs preparation and updates for related SOPs. 13. Support treasury function in any additional required. Desired experience and qualifications: - At least 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance with 2+ years of experience in Tax preferred - Bachelor's degree with Accounting or Finance - Adequate Chinese Tax skills and knowledge - Proficient MS Office, professional at Excel - Fluent English and local language - Good communication skills, Good organizational skills - Detail oriented, structured
