Job title: Assessor, Core Sector - ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ ISO 45001/TL 9000/AS 9100/ QC 080000/SA 8000/ISO 14064-1/ISO 14067/PAS 2060/ ISO 14046/ISO 41000//ISO37301/ISO 50001/ISO 55001/ESD S20.20/RC 14001 Purpose of the position: - To conduct on-site assessments against the requirements of relevant standards or specifications. - To provide expertise, produce surveillance and initial assessment reports and make recommendations for certification decisions. - To promote the BSI product offering and solutions to our clients with the view of improving their business performance, managing risk and “Making excellence a habit”. Key responsibilities & accountabilities: - Undertake management system assessments in accordance with BSI requirements. - Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure client understanding of the assessment decision and clear direction to particular items of corrective action where appropriate. - Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations in accordance with BSI policy, procedures and prescribed time frame. - Lead assessment teams as required ensuring that team members are adequately briefed so that quality of service is maintained and that effective working relationships are sustained both with Clients and within the team. - Establish and develop an effective partnership, which secures the commercial relationship and encourages opportunities for business development and increased client satisfaction with clients in your portfolio. - Provide accurate and prompt information to support services, working closely with them to ensure that client records are up to date and complete and that all other internal information requirements are met. - Plan/schedule workloads to make best use of own time and maximize revenue-earning activity. - Coach colleagues as appropriate especially where those members are inexperienced assessors or unfamiliar with clients' business/technology and assist in the induction and coaching of new colleagues as requested. - Maintain and develop assessment skills and technical and management system standards knowledge. - Provide technical support to clients through business development, sales and customer service staff. - Act as a brand Ambassador for BSI. This means acting ethically, following company rules and promoting BSI services to clients so they are able to optimize business performance and “Make Excellence a Habit”. Candidate specifications: ISO 9001/TL 9000/AS 9100/ISO 55001/ISO 41001: - Bachelor degree or above with manufacture industry related major or main professional qualification in a relevant subject and have a comprehensive knowledge of business processes and systems * - A quality management professional with training and a working knowledge of * a. ISO 9001 b. TL 9000 c. AS 9100 d. ISO 55001 e. ISO 41001 f. Statistics technology training g. Quality analysis tools training h. Managing for the sustained success of an organization—A quality management approach –BS EN ISO 9004 (optional) - Minimum 3 years quality management and technology management working experience in the fields of mechanical, electronic, aviation, communicating, chemical and other manufacturing industry , the main business work experience of finance, insurance, aviation and other service areas * - Commercial understanding of compliance industry, minimum 2 years quality system management - Knowledge of business processes and application of quality management standards 9001, TL9000, AS 9100,ISO55001,ISO 41001 ISO 14001/ISO45001/RC14001/ISO14064/ISO50001/ISO 14067/PAS 2060/ ISO 14046/ISO37301: - Bachelor degree or above with environment engineering, safety engineering related major or an equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject and have a comprehensive knowledge of business processes and systems * - A environmental management, occupational health and safety management ,energy management, responsible care, GHG emission, professional with training and a working knowledge of * a. ISO 14001 b. RC 14001 c. OHSAS 18001 d. ISO 45001 e. ISO 50001 f. ISO 14064-1/ISO 14067/PAS 2060/ ISO 14046/ISO37301 g. ISO37301 h. Legal of environmental protection, occupational health and safety i. Management, GHG, compliance - Minimum 3 years working experience in the fields of environment management , occupational health and safety management, ,energy management* - Commercial understanding of compliance industry, minimum 2 years environmental management, ,energy management and occupational health and safety management - Knowledge of business processes and application of environmental management, occupational health and safety management, energy management, responsible care, GHG emission standards QC 080000/ESD S20.20: - Bachelor degree or above with electronic related major or an equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject and have a comprehensive knowledge of business processes and systems * - A ISO 9001 auditor with training and a working knowledge of * a. QC 080000 b. ESD S20.20 c. Related technical regulation and legal - Minimum 2 years working experience in the fields of electronic * - Commercial understanding of compliance industry, minimum 2 years quality system management - Knowledge of business processes and application of management standards QC080000, ESD S20.20 SA 8000: - Bachelor degree or above and have a comprehensive knowledge of business processes and systems * - A ISO 9001 auditor with training and a working knowledge of * a. SA 8000 b. Related technical regulation and legal - Minimum 2 years working experience in the All fields * - Commercial understanding of compliance industry, minimum 2 years quality system management - Knowledge of business processes and application of management standard SA 8000 General Requirement: - Good verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail - Be self motivated, flexible, and have excellent time management/planning skills - Can work under pressure - Willing to travel on business intensively - An enthusiastic and committed team player - Good public speaking and business development skill will be considered advantageous - Delivery of days as booked in time and good quality work together with positive feedback from clients - Feedback efficiently to both clients and internal queries - Timely submission of reports - Actively solve problems when needed with “can do” attitude - Add value to clients by identifying their needs and introducing multiple BSI services to improve clients business performance and help them “Make excellence a habit” - Help to avoid customer attrition by providing quality value added service and technical support - CCAA qualification is a must
