- As a senior Java developer, you will focus on technical solutions and be involved into multiple agile project to deliver quality software. Based in TEDA and working in a dynamic global team with business analysts, project managers, business stakeholders and other technical experts across multiple locations. Role and Responsibility: • Perform hands on development in hadoop ecosystem in data ingestion, data transformation, data service, etc • Lead the technical design on component or full application • In addition to development, participate end to end project delivery and conduct tasks such as: application development, testing, build, and release. • Follow and contribute to DevOps and related team collaboration activities Technical Skills: • Overall 5+ year hands-on software development experience • Strong experience in Java or Scala, Unix • Hands on development experience in Multi-Threading, Restful API • Experience in DB (e.g. Oracle, Mysql) and SQL Tuning • Experience in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud framework, and familiar with microservice system architecture • English: Read and write is a must. Speaking and listening is a big plus, but optional in day 1 (Candidate must willing to put effort to improve after joining ) • Fast learner, self-disciplined, positive attitude. • Good communicator Nice to have: • Solace, GraphQL, KSQL, big data experience is a big plus • Experience in front end framework such as Vue.js, React, etc • Experience in Data Visualization, such as Tableau, Superset, etc • Experience in Data Analytic project experience in statistics, machine learning, etc • Financial industry experience • Team lead and client facing experience
